I liked playing with the lights yesterday, so I did it again, this time against a painting of Van Gogh that my dear friend Gavin Shaw speed-painted for me several years ago as a present when we rediscovered each other after a five year gap. His painting is also a self-portrait, his bone structure and eyes under and as The Artist As A Young Man.
