Went to a really dark park and it was amazing. I took some pictures but my lens isn't long enough. Just a bright fuzzy dot in the middle of the frame.

Couple people at the park had telescopes. I got to look at the eclipse and a pretty good look at Saturn as well.

Did anybody about town (Vancouver) note any sparkly bits from the smashed satellite? It clouded up around totality and I'm not sure if the bits tracked by with an opaque sky or I just missed them. Re-entrant glitter was detected in Prince George though, I hear.

As to the blood moon, ... lovely while it lasted.
