news of the not so good

Video: dinosaur on the loose in the L.A. Museum of Natural History.

It seems I left a shoe behind in Winnipeg. At first I thought, no, it must be here somewhere, but I have over-turned my entire apartment and I am still missing one shoe.

And now it's raining. And all I have are sandals.

Bah.

That's... inconvenient.

If it turns up at all, it will be within three days of acquiring replacement shoes. That's just the way these things work.

Shoe shopping is one of the most terrible things I ever have to do. I'd rather fold laundry for three days straight.

I generally only manage to accidentally buy shoes.

I'd rather buy shoes than trousers, mind you.

Jackets, on the other hand, are easy.

And cupcakes are simplest of all.

Oh that dinosaur action is sweet. I love how the kids are scattering and squealing and hiding. Great idea.

Oh, sweet, sweet kiddie terror.

Dude that sucks! Value Village has some really cheap shoes and (if you're a terrible bastard like me) if you really like a pair you can swap the sticker for a cheaper one

I walked in barefoot once, looking for shoes when I lived right across the street, and when it came time to pay, I totally forgot I was wearing them, and who's going to ask a lady about her shoes when it's obvious they're the ones she's wearing? I felt, yes, like a heel.
