That I would mention Tuvan throat singing in the back of the car last night before I went back and caught up on your post here. I actually own three CDs of traditional Tuvan throat singing, one on Real World by Shu-De and two by the group Hunn-Hurr-Tu. I had yet to see something in that genre quite as pimp as the music video on the right, but I must say I far prefer the Letterman performance. His little shrug near the beginning made me grin. :-T
BTW: I lady at a concert once recommended the word "oreo" repeated over and over in order to start experimenting with throat singing and dual tones.
