There needs to be a way to specify that I don't want to watch videos in HD.
Sure, you might be able to have such preferences stored in a flash cookie per site, but then I have to do it for every site, because each one has a different player. No standards. I spend a lot of time (in vain, at times) trying to dig out the URL of the raw .flv file from under each video player, so I can just play it in my mplayer plug-in, and have some control.
I wonder if HTML5's video element supports this. Javascript access standards will be nice.
