All I can think about is how this is a tawdry, cinematic manipulation of my emotions, and even my very EYES (HOLD THE FUCK STILL FOR FUCK'S SAKE) in order to celebrate an art so thoroughly (though not totally dominated) by an industry that wants unprecedented, unaccountable, extrajudicial powers to censor our Internet.
The irony here is that these compilation videos haven't been censored with the abusive legal powers Hollywood already makes use of. Compare this to the MegUpload song, which Universal Music has somehow managed to censor even though they //DON'T EVEN OWN THE COPYRIGHT// to it.
What's the difference? Politics. This video is cheerleading. It's industry propaganda. Thus, it stays up.
